PFK Guatemala consists of three weekly Kids Clubs in the cities of Antigua, Ciudad Vieja, and Parramos. Between the three areas there are around 150 children total attending these programs. These Kids Clubs have been so fruitful in the children’s lives that families are now coming to churches we partner with, mothers have grown hungry to study the Word of God, and the children are becoming lights in their communities. Each week the mothers, children, and family members come and learn more about this Jesus who has poured out His love on their children and brought such hope and transformation to their lives.
PFK Guatemala has also been given the opportunity to teach English at PFK Parramos. Currently, IGNITE interns and alumni teach English to between 50 - 75 children and adults each week. In addition to English classes, they also receive a Bible lesson and a snack. Many of these children and adults have begun coming to the services of the local church that we partner with! The pastor of the church said that through the English classes and the PFK program, chains in the community are being broken and lives are being transformed and the proof of that is the presence of the children and their families in church!
The opportunities for the impact of PFK Guatemala are endless and PFM continues to stand in awe of the Lord as He is mightily at work on behalf of the needy and unreached in Guatemala.
